We are so proud of our Junior Handler, Korbin, for his recognition in The Total Rottweiler Magazine! It was a rough year for him last year with a total of 6 surgeries :/ But my tough little cookie always perseveres with that beautiful smile of his that lights up every room he walks into. His patience and love shows through so clearly in his work with our Rotties too. Great Job Korbi-Bear <3
When we are asked why we show & breed European Bloodline Rottweilers, the answer is simple. We love them! We have a passion for the Rottweiler that exceeds the normal “pet/companion” relationship that most people have for a Rottweiler. We have gone a step further and not only have wonderful pets/companions but also have enjoyed the sport of showing and creating the best Rottweiler we can through our breedings.
I started with rottweilers in 1994 and they are the only breed I have or want to have.
I believe that if you want to get good you have to focus on just one breed. This is Sept. 2015 so I have been focused on the rottweiler now for almost 20 years and due to the grace and blessings of God, I believe it shows.

We are a strict Code Of Ethics breeder which means that all of our breeding dogs are health tested, at a minimum, for the following: hips, elbows, heart, and eyes. These requirements help ensure we produce healthy, happy Rottweilers. We also strive to maintain quality by ensuring only dogs who have obtained a title are used in our breeding program (ie. Canadian/ American/UCI International Championship and/or a working title such as CD.
My name is MARY JOHNSON and my life has been dominated by Rottweilers for the last 28 years. I have focused primarily on training and showing dogs, but I have occasionally bred a litter when I could put the right male and female together.

BLACK MOON ROTTWEILERS started in 1986
with the purchase of my first ROTTWEILER .
I remember the initial hunt for “my first rottie”…
Kennel after kennel, puppies in my lap, and $$ in
my pocket…but nothing was hitting home!
Then it happened, I pulled into their driveway, and she
came running out, jumping all over the side of my new
truck, scratching it up, but the bug bit! It was love
at first sight.
I saw my first Rottweiler in April, 1978 at the Chicago International Show. I started showing dogs in 1974 (Doberman Pinscher and Black and Tan Coonhounds), but I was mesmerized by the dog I saw in the Working Group in Chicago. (Ch Rodsden’s Bruin Von Hungerbuhl CDX). Breeders were few and far between at the time, but I was able to get my first Rottweiler puppy in June of 1979, and I named him Berte. (Ch Rodsden’s Berte V Zederwald CDX)
Welcome to Blanchard Rottweilers. Our breeding goal is to produce large, thick, heavyweight, and massive Rottweilers. They are quality puppies, very healthy, loyal, and trustworthy. They will love and protect your family, guard your home and property, and are easily trained. All of our Rottweilers are AKC registered and have German Champion bloodlines.
Like many of us today involved with the Rottweiler Breed my love for pure-bred dogs started young. I grew up in Atlanta Georgia where my parents bred top winning German Shepherds in the 50’s and 60’s. At the age of eight I was already showing the family dogs in Junior Conformation and Obedience.
Brandy Hills Rockin Rottweilers is located in Torrington, Connecticut. Joe and I have been involved in Rottweilers since 1991 and are Code of Ethics breeders. We strive to produce quality Rottweilers with sound minds and bodies for work and show, not quantity. Our love for the breed goes without saying. Joe and myself are interested in both AKC and German conformation, obedience, schutzhund, tracking, carting, herding, and agility.
We Believe It is Essential Puppies Stay Together and Interact with Each Other and Their Parents Until They are at Least 10-12 Weeks of age. Socialized, well-adjusted puppies mingle with children, adults, kittens, cats, horses, and cows. Let’s not fail to mention, loud noises, soft noises, strange noises, and several kinds of music. Rottweilers are among the top-ten brightest breed of dogs in the world, and beginning from birth interactions like this ensures confidence and intelligent behavior.

We have been raising Rottweilers since 2003. We started with my daughter’s dog Lily who was a direct Multi-International Champion Rick V Burgthann daughter. This dog helped to shape our expectation and our love of the breed. We were initially and continue to be very impressed with the intelligence and creative problem solving ability of Rottweilers. It was incredible to watch Lily figure out how to play “hide and seek” with our other dog, and then see the other dog learn how to turn the tables on her.
