Welcome to the internet home of Von Warterr Rottweilers. We are located in Quinlan, Texas. We are Warren and Terri Johnson and we are code of ethics breeders. Our kennel name, “Warterr”, is pronounced “War-Tair” and is derived from the first part of my name (Warren) and my wife’s name (Terri). Our partner and kennel manager is Jerry Scott. We are members of the Rottweiler Klub of North America (RKNA) and the Texas Rottweiler Klub (TRK) of which I serve as president. We purchased our first Rottweiler puppy in the spring of 1991. Since then the Rottweiler has been our passionate hobby. We are Rottweiler breeders first and foremost for ourselves and then for others who have an interest in owning a Von Warterr Rottweiler.

We purchased our first Rottweiler puppy in the spring of 1992. Since then the Rottweiler has been our passionate hobby. We are Rottweiler breeders first and foremost for ourselves and then for others who have an interest in owning a Great Rottweiler puppy.
Our goal is to breed healthy, well-tempered, good looking, correct in type, and intelligent Rottweiler puppies.
The adult Rottweiler’s we breed have their hips, elbows, heart, and eyes certified IN AMERICA with the OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals.)
Our dogs are part of our family and live in our home with us. They are not “Kennel Dogs”.
We are now licensed and inspected by the state of Texas, in compliance with the new state laws. This has in no way changed the way that we have always raised our puppies but for those of you checking us out for the first time, we hope this will give you more confidence in knowing you can be assured your new family member is coming from a loving, caring breeder and not a puppy mill, as we have always been in very high standings with AKC and now the state of Texas.
